Jim it's evident that your blog is wildly popular after only a year, to what do you attribute your success? The Real Estate Tomato Actually it's hardly been two months. I launched it on June 17th or 18th and didn't even tell anyone about it for a week. It took me that week to get it to look presentable and have a few posts and pages worth looking at.

I would say that my success is attributed to paying attention to the blogs that always held my attention. I was reading about a dozen blogs a day... Red Sox, Politics and Gadgets were my addition. Once I committed to the Real Estate Tomato with the bold mantra of "Where Realtor's Get Their Daily Feed" I knew I had to figure out what these bloggers were doing to keep me coming back. I broke it down in a post on the Tomato that I called the 8P's to Blogging Success. PLAN, PAY ATTENTION, POST, PARTICIPATE, PROBE, PREPARE, PLEASE, PARTNER.

Laguna Niguel Real Estate Why is it important to our clients that we blog ?

The Real Estate Tomato 1. It shows we are embracing the Age of Participation... this wave of Web 2.0 Laguna Niguel Real Estate
Jim, how much time do you spend on each post?

The Real Estate Tomato
That' s confidential, if my wife found out how much time I spend on each post she'd be certain that I had lost my mind. What needs to be said is that good blogging will take a good amount commitment. Success is created with focus and hard work. If you approach your blogging as something you squeeze into your day... it will appear that way to your audience. If you approach it as something that you plan and commit to, they will recognize your passion, creativity and dedication.
